# Cambrian Railways Trust - our friends based in nearby Llynclys, who we are now in talks with about plans to re-open the Gobowen - Blodwell (aka Llanddu) line as a heritage railway. The Trust also operate a DMU service from Llynclys South to Penygrarreg Lane, on the edge of Pant. Their station is located 4 miles south of Oswestry on the A483 (follow signs to Welshpool) & turn left @ the junction of the A495.

# Cumbria Railways - Bolton Loop - The Cumbria Railways website is dedicated to the lost railways of Northern Cumbria which have all closed during the last century.

# Glyn Valley Tramway - A group which aims to preserve the remains of this delightful line which once operated between Glyn Ceiriog and Chirk - not a million miles from Oswestry. The site details current developments, along with opening times for their two museums.

# Penrhyn Quarry Railway Society - Based at Bethesda, near Bangor, North Wales, the group is currently re-opening part of the 2' gauge former PQR which carried slates to Port Penrhyn.

# Preserved Shunters.Co.Uk - a site dedicated to preserved diesel and electric shunting locomotives in varying sizes and gauges located at heritage railways and museums in the UK. The highly recommended site is updated almost daily.

# Shrewsbury Railway Heritage Trust - a group who we are now working with as part of the 'Railwaymen's Reminicences' Project. They are also preserving the former Shropshire & Montgomeryshire Railway terminus at Abbey Foregate, with the aim of opening it as a visitor centre.
